Summary

Jonathan Benainous began his career 20 years ago as a 2D concept artist after graduating from LISAA Paris with a degree in applied arts.

Jonathan's career has seen him work on a number of successful games with leading game development studios. He spent six years at Quantic Dream as a Senior Environment Artist, where he contributed to the development of the critically acclaimed AAA games "Heavy Rain" and "Beyond: Two Souls".

After leaving Quantic Dream, Jonathan worked on the release of "Horizon: Zero Dawn" with Guerrilla Games in Amsterdam before returning to Paris to work on "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" with Ubisoft. He then joined Ubisoft Quebec as a Senior Texture Artist, where he contributed to "Assassin's Creed Odyssey".

Jonathan's expertise led him to join WB Games Montreal in 2018 to contribute to the development of "Gotham Knights".
In 2020, Jonathan moved to Naughty Dog to work as a Senior Environment Texture Artist, where he was part of the team that shipped "The Last of Us Part I".

In January 2024, Jonathan joined the Lightspeed L.A. team as a Principal Environment Artist and is currently working on the highly anticipated game 'Last Sentinel'.
